[Construction Section 52]
AIR CONDITIONING
The word most frequently air conditioning is for cooling and dehumidification of the indoor air for thermal comfort. In another sense, the word also can be limited to any form of cooling, heating, ventilation and disinfection, to filter dust, changes the state of the air.
An air conditioning is a device, system, or a mechanism designed to recover heat from a room or area, usually with a refrigeration cycle, but sometimes with evaporation, most often for comfort cooling in buildings and cars.
The concept of air conditioning is known to have been used in ancient Rome, where aqueduct water was circulated through the walls of some houses to cool. Similar techniques in medieval Persia went ahead. The air conditioning made progress in chemistry during the 19th Century, and the first major electric air conditioning was invented, and it was in 1902.
Air Conditioning Engineers largely in comfort air conditioning systems and process.
Comfort applications aimed at an indoor room, which remains relatively constant in a number of people preferred despite changes in the external weather conditions or in the internal heat loads.
The highest performance for the tasks that the people sitting in an office, it is expected that at 22.2 ° C. Output is expected to be about 1% for any change in the room temperature. The highest performance for tasks, it is expected that at somewhat lower temperatures. The highest performance for larger tasks of people, it is expected that at somewhat lower temperatures. The highest performance for tasks of smaller people, it is expected that at somewhat higher temperatures. Despite the developments, although generally acknowledged that some disputes thermal comfort increases the productivity of workers.
Comfort Air Conditioning makes deep plan buildings feasible. Without air conditioning, buildings must be built with light or close wells inner spaces, so that an adequate outside air through the natural ventilation can penetrate. Air conditioning and the building will be bigger, because wind speed increases significantly with the amount of natural ventilation impractical for very high buildings. Comfort applications for the various buildings today are very different.
