ENGOBE AND GLAZE

The engobe can glazed over. In some cases, this can be done with a transparent glaze, eliminating the need for stronger and brighter colors. The crucial part of ceramics is the burning of the resulting ceramic glass.

Many methods of application and influence of technological properties are influencing the glaze and engobes. A glaze and an engobe additive include every time dispersants and deflocculate. Further they are contenting rheological additives like e.g. suspending agents, preservative materials, and also defoamers.
