By the nature of consolidation in adhesives are physically binding adhesives and chemical curing adhesives divided.

1. CHEMICAL CURING ADHESIVES

Chemical curing adhesives are divided into three groups.

1st Polymerization adhesives:
Polymerization adhesives include: Cyanacrylat adhesives, methylmethacrylat- adhesives, Anaerobic curing adhesives, unsaturated polyester (UP-resins) and radiation adhesives.

2nd Polycondensation adhesives:
Polycondensation adhesives include: Phenol formaldehyde adhesives, silicone adhesives, silan grating polymer adhesives and polyimide adhesives.

3rd Polyaddition adhesives:
Polyaddition adhesives include: Epoxy resins, polyurethane adhesives.

2. PHYSICOCHEMICAL BINDING ADHESIVES

Physically binding adhesives are: melt adhesives, solvent, wet adhesives, contact adhesives, emulsion adhesives, water bazed adhesives, adhesives and plastisol.
