In the production of all colors, color pigments and binders are being mixed.

Powder Coatings
Powder coatings are organic, mostly thermoset powder coating with a solids content of nearly one hundred %. The coating of powder coatings requires no solvent (as opposed to all technologies for coating).

Lime Colors
Lime is a color paint only from the water as a solvent and calcium hydroxide as a pigment and binder. Calcium hydroxide is also deleted lime. It is preferred because of lower costs.

Glue Colors
Glue colors are paintings which as a glue binder and water as a solvent. As a white pigment and filler is usually limestone flour, lithopone or chalk. Can also add color pigments are added.

Dispersion Colors
As emulsion paints or -anstriche refers to the viscous coating of a chemical dispersion (usually an emulsion) from binder and solvents, color products (mostly pigments) and additives.

BINDERS

Binders are substances through the solids with a fine dispersion grade (for example in dorm of powder) with one another or to a document bonded. Binders are usually in liquid form to the binding fillers added.
Both substances are mixed intensively, so that they are evenly distributed and all particles of filling material evenly with the binder wetted. Due to the nature of the binder can be the new filler material processing and properties.

BINDERS IN CONSTRUCTION

In building is burnt lime, cement and potash water glass as a binder.
Binders in building materials are mostly mineral substances by cristallisation a high strength.

In the construction industry, there are two types of binders: The hydraulic binders and non hydraulic binders.

Hydraulic binders harden both in the air and under water. These are for example: cement, hydraulic lime, plaster and wall trusses.

The non hydraulic binders against (the so-called air binder), only to harden in the air. These are for example: air lime, gypsum, magnesia binder. This second type of binder is the substantiation not water resistant.

Binders used in building materials: clay, gypsum and anhydrite in panels, plaster and screed, burnt lime in the mortar and plaster, the bitumen roofing cement for mortar, concrete and attic.
