THE LOCK

A lock is a mostly mechanical, sometimes one or mekatronische device electronic, with a loosening of the mechanism using only one matching key permits. Without this right key, however, this prevents loosening.
Locks distinction is based on their design. The locks are used for another feature.

A CYLINDER LOCK

The cylinder lock is an American invention of the 19th Century. Today, these kinds of locks on most uses. COMMERCIAL LOCK

COMBINATION LOCK

Combination locks can be found in duplicate in mechanical banks, in suitcases, as a bicycle lock, as well as weapons safes or cabinets. Mechanical combination locks are usually based on rotating metal discs, with a groove which they are based. The individual discs will have a mechanism in the right position rotated, a function bolt picks in the grooves, and so the mechanism is unlocked.
